Doubt and Delay
Doubt and delay are evidence of a disconnection from faith and courage. Do not doubt the magnificence of who you are, nor delay the acts of greatness that will prove it. From my FB page: http://www.facebook.com/brendonburchardfan
This is a cool story, and it might help you reach higher levels of performance in all you do.
Do you remember the Beatles song, Dear Prudence? It was one of Lennon’s favorites. 2nd track on The White Album. Classic.
A few weeks ago, I met Prudence Farrow, Mia Farrow’s sister and the subject of the song.
Prudence spent a few weeks with the Beatles in India, where they were learning Transcendental Meditation from Maharishi Mahesh Yogi.
The Beatles were a pretty wild bunch, and they were always trying to get Prudence to relax and socialize more. But she was very committed to her meditation practice.
Thus the song lyrics, “Dear Prudence, won’t you come out to play.”
Well, I was inspired by the fact that Prudence has been meditating ever since - that was 1968. She’s a remarkably centered, enlivened, and joyous person, and she credits meditation. She has “the charge.”
I’ve been meditating for years, often using Holosync.
Recently, Oprah and Jerry Seinfeld have raved so much about Transcendental Meditation that I decided to check it out someday.
Then, serendipitously, I was notified that I had been given the Maharishi Award for my work sharing positive information and inspiration with the world. When I picked up my award, I met Prudence and learned TM. Love it! (Thanks Janet Bray Attwood and Chris Attwood for nominating me).
I’ll keep using TM and Holosync in my mediation practice.
If you have a practice, share it on my page where I interview Bill Harris, founder of Centerpointe and Holoysnc. I’ll be interviewing Prudence soon too.
As we teach at High Performance Academy, meditation is a simple but powerful tool for releasing stress, mastering your mind and reaching your full potential.
Here’s two great resources for you:

Less stress, more creativity, inner peace and wellness?
That’s the proven result of meditation.
If it’s not part of your daily practice, give it a try.
Wishing you joy and abundance on your march to higher performance,
There is a hope that surrounds you, urging you to follow your heart, believing in your strength to overcome, to have vision, to rise for what is right, to speak for the voiceless, to march on for something grander than self even when the path of contribution is fraught with toil, uncertainty. It is a hope that calls us to greatness, to love. It is a hope that blankets us from birth. It is the hope of humanity. It rings, it rings, it rounds off our fears and soothes our tears: We Are In This Together.
The war you feel within - that restlessness, the unending uncertainty - is not to be dismissed, avoided, hated. That internal conflict is not dark, it is a beaming light trying to focus you, the rolling thunderous call of courage, the rays of greatness seeking to explode beyond your skin to touch once more the Spirit of Possibility.
You can’t reach for your destiny if you never let go of your past.
Anxiety rarely slows you when marching hard, mind on mission, heart committed to something grander than self, destiny ringing in the ears.
LOVE. Close your eyes and participate.
If people spent as much time worrying about how to make a difference as they do about how they could make money, they would soon find themselves rich beyond belief.
